Despite the circulation video, Gervonta Davis initially denied the incident.

But on Tuesday (Feb. 4), he turned himself in to Coral Gables police on battery charges.

The boxer took to Snapchat with a few mixed messages:
“We some poor high-class n*ggas we made it we rich!…BE CAREFUL WITH THE DECISION YOU MAKE..ONE MISTAKE CAN MESS UP EVERYTHING..I’M LEARNING”

He seems to be evading all updates and commentary on his scandal by taking a social media break. Gervonta recently deactivated his Instagram account.
