Azriel Clary Suggests She Has Proof Of R. Kelly Coercing Her

Azriel Clary has a few more things to say about R. Kelly.

Around this time last year, 22-year-old Azriel Clary was defending her then-boyfriend R. Kelly, 53, in an explosive interview with CBS This Morning’s Gayle King.

Since then, she has moved out of the home and even gotten into a physical altercation with another one of his girlfriends, Joycelyn Savage, 24.

Azriel Clary was reportedly 17 when she moved in with R. Kelly, and Joycelyn Savage was reportedly 19.

Azriel Clary has since reunited with her family and has no problem speaking against R. Kelly. She said during an interview with The Sun last month,

“For the most part he blackmails everyone. He makes everyone do very degrading stuff, whether on film or writing it down, he makes them sign it. And I think a lot of women are ashamed or embarrassed to come out because of stuff like that because it’ll be incriminating them – there’s so much stuff. He has letters of people saying that they’ve stolen from him. He has letters from people saying that they’ve been molested or touched by their parents or their brothers or a family member. He even has people on film molesting their younger nieces or younger brothers.”

Now, in a new series of tweets, she’s coming for R. Kelly, who’s currently in jail on child pornography, obstruction of justice, and other charges.

She tweeted Thursday (Feb. 6),

“This really runs deeper than a lot of you think.”
She then responded to a fan who said R. Kelly won’t apologize for his alleged wrongdoings because he doesn’t think he did anything wrong. Clary responded,
“That’s what you think.”
She added,
“I should not have to be honest to the world for them to know the truth. Be a man for once in your life. You have fans fighting for you that you owe an apology to, you have family, friends and more importantly every woman that you’ve been with that you need to apologize to.”
She later suggested she had receipts that R. Kelly would coach her on what to say.
“What if I had a video of Robert coercing me on what to say, and exactly how to say it… I wonder if the hate would stop then. #whatif ..Even if there’s 4 or 5 different ones? Even if he was talking in second person like me? Hmm. I doubt it. But it’s just a what it.”
She ended on Friday (Feb. 7) with,
“Either you want all the truth or you don’t. But don’t be mad at women when they finally come forward speaking on abuse. When it is ever okay for a woman to be beaten to the point that markings are left behind? Love is a powerful thing, but once you know better you do better.”
