Drake Spotted Filming In Popular New York Projects [VIDEO]

Drake was spotted over the weekend (Feb. 8th), while filming a new visual in the popular Brooklyn, New York housing complex, Marcy Projects. The housing projects have been the home to hip-hop’s biggest legends, including rap mogul, Jay-Z.

In the video, Drake was seen filming his new visual for an unreleased song. In the short snippet, the “Money In The Grace,” rapper leaned against a fence in front of the Marcy houses, wearing a blue New York Yankees bomber jacket matched with black pants and Black Nikes.

In a second clip, Drake continues filming as several onlookers take a moment to catch a glimpse of the Grammy award winning rapper.

Rumors have it Drake and rapper Future are in the prepping a new release for a sequel to their infamous 2015 ‘What A Time To Be Alive,’ collaborative album after their new “Life is Good,” track.

The rap duo’s latest single “Life Is Good,” peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. In celebration of their new single, the duo reportedly purchase matching gold and silver pendants worth $200,000 and feature over half a kilo of gold and 40-carat diamonds.

The matching pendants depict an owl and eagle side-by-side. The owl is the symbol for Drake’s label, OVO, and the eagle is the symbol for Future’s label, Freebandz.
