Chrissy Teigen Pens Message To Beyoncé After Fanning Out Awkwardly At Oscar’s After Party

Model Chrissy Teigen along with several notable and beloved celebs was in attendance for Beyoncé and Jay-z’s Oscar after-party at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, on Sunday (Feb. 9th). In fact, she was so excited that she took to Instagram the next day (Feb. 10) to share a video of her white Aadnevik Oscars afterparty dress, alongside husband EGOT winner, John Legend, 41, as the couple prepares to head to the festivities for the night.

She revealed in the caption that her excitement might have given Beyonce the wrong impression of her.

“Changed for the night!! Beyonce if there is any, any way you’re reading this please just know I stare at you and don’t talk because I am truly so nervous to say something stupid but we love you and thank you so much!!!”

As reported, the star-studded festivity included appearances by Rihanna, Dwyane Wade, Gabrielle Union, French Montana, “Grey’s Anatomy” star Jesse Williams, John Legend, Odell Beckham, Jr., and Travis Scott. This wasn’t Chrissy Teigen’s first run-in with the “Formation” singer.

Back in 2018, Chrissy Teigen touched on a meeting Beyonce at the Grammy Awards that year.  She told the story on “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon” and said that after leaving an event, she got down on her knees to greet the Queen Bey.

“On our way out, I was like, ‘We have to say something, right?’ And I took both her hands—I don’t do this for anybody, it was very weird—and John’s like, ‘What the hell are you doing?’ And I took her hands and I got down on my knees and I was like, ‘Sorry to bother you, my Queen.’ Like, who says that? It was like, my lady. Like, what do you—who am I? And John’s like bro-fiving with Jay-Z…”
