Megan Thee Stallion Explains Her Old Mugshot: I Found Out My Boyfriend Was Cheating On Me, So I Fought Him!

Megan Thee Stallion may have a new single out called, “Pose,” but fans had no idea she posed for a mugshot! Fans were shocked when the photograph from the rap diva’s 2015 arrest circulated on social media this week.

The 24-year-old detailed the incident in an Instagram live session, explaining that finding out about an ex-boyfriend’s infidelity at the SXSW Music Festival led to a physical scuffle.

“Oh my God- my mugshot is so terrible. It’s so horrible, but- you know- it is what it is. And sometimes you just really gotta back up what you be about. I was like, maybe 19 or 20. I was in college and I had a real beautiful, toxic relationship. It was fun, but it was bad- and I had to get out of it. I had a situation where I was at motherf*ckin’ SXSW, and my motherf*ckin’ boyfriend at the time- I had just found out that this n*gga had had a baby right then and there at the d*mn concert. B*tch, at the d*mn concert!”

Megan Thee Stallion, then, detailed her arrest.

“It had happened that when I was ready to give it to him, the motherf*ckin’ police pulled up when I’m punchin’! So the motherf*ckin’ police jump out the car- ‘Ma’am! Ma’am! Ma’am!’ I’m [thinking,] ‘Why God? I just found out this n*gga had a baby! Now the police are here, and now it looks like I’m the aggressor!’ I just look like the motherf*ckin’ bad guy!”

“So the police is like, ‘Ma’am, what’s going on? Are you okay?’ And I’m like, ‘No! He just had a baby! I just found out he cheated on me!’ And my boyfriend- he mad. He’s like, ‘F*ck that! Megan, shut up!’ So I’m a real b*tch to the tee, to the heart, to the core. The police officer asks me, ‘Did he hit you?’ B*tch, I look rough. My weave to the side, my shirt jacked up, my pants dirty- ’cause he been pushin’ me! So me, being the real b*tch that I am- the strong Black queen trying to hold it down for my Black king – I say, ‘No, officer. He didn’t hit me.’ ‘Cause I don’t want him to go to jail! B*tch, the motherf*ckin’ [officers] asked that n*gga if I hit him and he said, ‘Yeah! She hit me in the eye!’ B*tch, you got to know they sent me straight to jail! Them hoes cuffed me, I ain’t never been cuffed in my life!”

When holding it down goes wrong! The case was dismissed in April of 2016 due to Megan’s hot boy’s absence in court according to TMZ.
