Cardi B’s Pregnant Friend Star Brim Charged, Will Be Arrested After Giving Birth

Cardi B’s close friend, Star Brim (real name Yonette Respass) is facing jail time. According to reports, Star Brim (who is pregnant) has been charged in a sweeping roundup of members of the 59 Brims.  Reportedly, she has been charged with slashing a person and participating in a racketeering conspiracy.

The 59 Brims are described as a violent Bloods street gang.

Star Brim was one of 18 defendants named in an indictment of gang members. Star Brim recently celebrated her pregnancy with a baby shower last month.

No word on how far along she is, but she won’t be arrested until she gives birth, according to reports.

Prosecutors say Star Brim is known as “Godmother” and is the highest-ranking female member of the 59 Brims. Female members of the gang who do not report to other gang officials are required to report to her.
