SZA and Justin Timberlake released a new collab for the first official single and music video called “The Other Side,” from the upcoming “Trolls World Tour” movie.

On Wednesday (Feb. 26th), the duo dropped an eye-catching video that pays homage to legendary director Hype Williams and his 1990s fish-eye-lensed clips used by Missy Elliott, Diddy, Mase and others.
In addition, SZA keeps the 90s inspired theme with a body fitting silver bodysuit.

Along with the funky and upbeat single “The Other Side,” the soundtrack was written by Justin Timberlake alongside producer Ludwig Göransson. In a statement, Justin Timberlake opens up on his experience with writing and producing the soundtrack. He says,
“It has been such a fun process writing and executive producing for this project. Being able to bring together different creatives from various disciplines and genres has been the most rewarding part. Creating something that serves the movie while still being able to exist apart from it has been a fun challenge that was made even more exciting by working with the other amazing artists that helped us put this together.”

SZA adds,
“I was so thrilled to be invited to participate in this project with Justin. The creative process of working with him and the team was filled with such excitement. It’s an energy you can feel in both the song and music video. I can’t wait for people to check it out.”
