Apollo Nida’s Fiancée Suffers Ectopic Pregnancy
Former ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta,’ husband Apollo Nida and his fiancé, Sherien Almufti recently had a scary trip the the hospital.
Over the weekend (March 7th), Sherien Almufti said she had an unsettling feeling from last week, when she believed she was having menstrual cramps. However, after taking a few Motrin she was still in pain and says she later realized after being hospitalized that she had an ectopic pregnancy.
She explained on social media:
”Yes, the second time my body was telling me bish go to the hospital. Ugh! So 2 days in the hospital and thank God it was caught before it caused what is life threatening.”
As she continues her alarming medical experience, she urges all women to practice self care.
“Women, We are so strong and stubborn at the same time. We need to know when to STOP and take care of ourselves.”
According to Mayo Clinic, an ectopic pregnancy pregnancy is classified as a fertilized egg implants outside the uterus. The fertilized egg can’t survive outside the uterus. If left to grow, it may damage and cause life-threatening loss of blood.
Almufti and Apollo have been engaged since 2016 while he was serving a fraud sentence in federal prison. The former RHOA husband was released last summer after he pleaded guilty to laundering more than $2.3 million via fake bank accounts.
Since his release last year, there’s no word on when they’ll tie the knot. She and her daughter appeared on TLC’s Say Yes To The Dress in 2018.
Get well soon Sherien!
