Kodak Black Pleads Guilty To Gun Charge
Kodak Black may have his defense team and devout mother on his side, but his legal troubles are mounting. The young Miami-born rapper pleaded guilty to a gun charge Thursday (March 20) from last year.
Last April, Kodak Black (real name, Bill Kapri) and three other men were detained by border protection at the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge between New York and Canada. Loaded guns and marijuana were found inside the vehicle – resulting in Kodak pleading guilty to second-degree criminal possession. He also had a gun on his person in the Niagra County Courthouse. This is on top of his current sentence.
Earlier this year, the “Roll In Peace” hitmaker said that he’s been mistreated while in prison. He is currently serving a four-year sentence on another weapons charge. He was infamously arrested for this charge at the Rolling Loud Music Festival for lying on a gun license application.
Kodak Black is scheduled to return to court for sentencing for the gun charge on March 24th.
What are your thoughts on the guilty plea?
