Eminem Gushes Over Daughter Hailie: No Babies! She’s Graduated From College, She’s Made Me Proud, For Sure!

For fans of rapper Eminem, (real name, Marshall Mathers) it’s easy to feel like they’ve watched his daughter, Hailie Jade Mathers, grow up right before their eyes. He’s mentioned his baby girl by name in several songs over the span of his career – including “Mockiningbird;” “Hailie’s Song;” “Beautiful;” and “Forgot About Dre.”

Slim Shady recently sat down with boxing champion Mike Tyson for his podcast, “Hotboxin’,” in which he gives the public an update on Hailie. He says she has officially obtained her degree in psychology from Michigan State University. The 47-year-old father gushed:

“No babies! She has a boyfriend- but she’s doing good. She’s made me proud for sure. She’s graduated from college.”

Eminem continued:

“I have a niece that I have helped raise, too, that’s pretty much like a daughter to me, and she is 26. And I have a younger one that’s 17 now. So when I think about my accomplishments, that’s probably the thing I’m the most proud of is being able to raise kids…It’s important to keep your kids grounded when they’re in a situation like I have, it’s very important. People also think too that money just buys happiness, [but] that absolutely is not the truth. You’ve got to be right inside otherwise none of this sh*t means nothing.”

Like most dads, Eminem is willing to go to war over his baby girl. In 2018, he exchanged words with rapper Machine Gun Kelly over an old tweet in which he commented on Hailie’s appearance. Eminem chewed him out on the song, “Not Alike:”

“But next time you don’t gotta use Tech N9ne if you wanna come at me with a sub-machine gun / And I’m talking to you but you already know who the f*** you are, Kelly / I don’t use sublims and sure as f*** don’t sneak-diss / But keep commenting on my daughter Hailie”
