Playboi Carti Arrested In Atlanta, Drugs & Guns Allegedly Found In His Lamborghini

Rapper Playboi Carti is facing legal trouble. He and 21-year-old Jaylan Tucker were stopped by Clayton County police in Georgia after authorities discovered Carti was driving his Lamborghini with an expired tag.

Clayton County Sheriff Victor Hill says his deputies discovered 12 bags of marijuana, Xanax, codeine and oxycodone, along with three guns inside the vehicle. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Playboi Carti and his passenger were arrested and taken into custody.

Shortly after the arrest, Carti was released, according to his manager. However, Jaylan Tucker was still in custody at the time of the AJC’s publishing. They were both charged with possession, improperly passing an emergency vehicle, and displaying an updated license plate decal.

Neither Carti nor his girlfriend, rapper Iggy Azalea, have commented on the arrest.
