It started earlier this month, when record producers Timberland and Swizz Beatz battled among themselves.
Their friendly competition ignited other music battles including: Scott Storch vs Mannie Fresh; T-Pain vs. Lil Jon; NeYo vs. Johnta Austin and more.
Fast forward to the present day and rapper 2 Chainz (real name Tauheed Epps) wants in and has requested a battle.
He posted a video on instagram telling his followers:
“So I put up a post talking about Atlanta run the game basically last couple of decades and me wanting to participate in this versus thing that Swizz and Timberland got going on. So we’re were talking people outside of the city to compete against.”
He continued:
“I’m trying to see who I can go against. I saw French (Montana) say Fab (Fabolous) Fab got some dope a** girl record but I got those trap records. Someone said Meek and I thought that would be dope. Let’s do it meek, let’s do it.”
Meek gracefully turned down the offer and said he just wants to watch everything like everyone else. See the clip.
