Bernie Sanders Drops Out Of Presidential Race
Bernie Sanders has officially left the race for president.
News spread that the now former Democratic candidate has gracefully bowed out Wednesday (April 8), making room for the final party candidate standing, Joe Biden, to serve as the nominee, according to Los Angeles Times.
The move might not be a surprising one as Joe Biden won several states in the primaries before voting was put on hold thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This isn’t his first time leaving the race around this phase. He also lost the 2016 primary to Hillary Clinton, who subsequently lost the election to President Donald Trump.

Still, Bernie Sanders was a clear favorite for many celebrity voters in the current race, including Cardi B and T.I., who often publicly showed their support for him.

Cardi B even sat down with him last year.
