Jada Pinkett Smith’s nails might be struggling during quarantine, but she’s determined to stay snatched.

The “Red Table Talk” host has been determined to pick up a towel and get down to work in her home no matter what it takes.

Jada Pinkett Smith created an innovative way to keep up her physical health and shared it with followers on Instagram. By laying on a towel and using her arms to pull her forward, Jada focused on strengthening her biceps.

The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree when it comes on to fitness goals in this family. Jada Pinkett Smith’s mother, Adrienne Banfield-Norris, a.k.a. Gam, has been notorious for holding her own in the gym.

It’s a trait Jada Pinkett Smith’s daughter Willow Smith proudly embraces as she, too, has her own regimen of keeping a healthy lifestyle. She’s shared her personal journey using yoga as a means of self-care.

While “Gam” is vivacious and healthy now, it hasn’t always been this way. A past struggle with heroin for more than 20 years took a toll on her physically and mentally as she cared for her two children. She admitted on an episode of the Facebook Watch series,

“I couldn’t hide the unmanageability of my life, and the emotional damage and the spiritual damage I did to myself and to her.”

“I had to come to the understanding that there was a power. That God had been looking out for us, you and me both, through all of that. And I just had to let go and surrender so I could receive what he was trying to give to me, through other people.”

Now, sober for years, Adrienne Banfield-Norris has found a new addiction, her healthy lifestyle.

It’s safe to say that there will be no black cracking in the Smith family.
