Kodak Black’s Lawyer Lashes Out After He’s Denied Early Release Amid COVID-19: Tekashi 6ix9ine Was Guilty Of Violent Offenses & Was Released!
Kodak Black’s attorney, Bradford Cohen, is voicing his continued concerns for the mistreatment of his client. He’s currently in jail after lying on his application for firearms.
On Friday, April 17, Kodak Black’s attorney used his Instagram account to post the latest on his case.
“It’s amazing how the Federal [Bureau of Prison] works. Here’s a guy that still has over a 1.5 years left on his sentence and no signs of corona, in a min security club fed, the judge denies his request to be released, and Bop goes ahead and decides he is a candidate to be released. Meanwhile, @kodakblack sits in a penitentiary where i cannot have any meaningful legal discussions on any of his cases, 1100 miles away from his family, where there are cases of corona, for a paperwork offense, and they wont even agree to transfer him closer to his family, like the First Step Act suggested. The you have @6ix9ine0fficial who was accused of violent offenses, has prior history and is sent to a private prison and then released early as well. If you think there isn’t a 2 tiered system of justice you are dreaming. #justiceforkodak“

Earlier this month, the rapper spoke out about being moved to a new jail and how he felt he would need a knife for protection.

The young rapper continues to speak out about his treatment and ends by stating he believes he’s being set up.
“These people setting me up letting me out the box and sending me to the worst penitentiary so I can get in some more trouble so when they do decide to bring me to court they can have some more sh*t to say. Y’all the one beat me up and did me wrong. Y’all should be getting A new charge!!”
