Rapper Wiz Khalifa (real name Cameron Thomaz), 32, released a gift of new tunes to roll up to for fans in celebration of “National Weed Smoking Day,” better known as 4/20. On Friday (April 17th), Wiz Khalifa teased on social media the idea of releasing a full album in anticipation of the yearly holiday.

Fast forward to Monday (April 20th), the Taylor Gang rapper has now dropped his two-year follow-up from 2018’s “Rolling Papers 2” bringing in an all-star line-up of features including Megan Thee Stallion, Quavo, Ty Dolla $ign, Tyga, and more.

The multi-Platinum selling rapper, who has previously claimed his weed habit costs him a massive $10,000 a month, is set to headline a performance during a virtual 20-minute DJ set for “The Higher Together” festival. The virtual festival will feature a selection of his favorite tracks to smoke along with. In a press release, Wiz Khalifa says he happy to bring like-minded fans together to celebrate his project.

“Super excited to hang with the Weedmaps smokers all over the world. I’m even more pumped to be able to share a new project on a holiday everyone loves.”

“The Higher Together” festival will take place from 3-8 p.m. ET at weedmaps.com/420. Chief Officer, Juanjo Feijoo says Wiz, along with several other artists, is set to perform during the festival. He spoke on the importance of the event,

“4/20 has not only become a celebration for cannabis enthusiasts around the world, but culturally, it has also served as a reminder for how far we’ve come since the days of prohibition and the continued work that is ahead. We’re excited to partner with some of the best in music and entertainment to celebrate the plant and the culture with our community.”
