Nick Young Recalls Almost Getting Into A Car Accident w/ Lakers Star JaVale McGee: I Almost Killed Him!

Former NBA player Swaggy P (real name Nick Young) joked about nearly taking the life of Los Angeles Lakers center JaVale McGee in a close-call Friday evening (May 1st). Nick Young, 34, took to Twitter with the details of his full-on road rage experience that almost turned into a car crash with JaVale McGee. Nick Young begins,

“I almost killed Javale McGee just now, what are the odds we almost hit each other driving. I’m ready to cus someone out in full road rage mode.”

Swaggy P continues,

“He roll down his window, its Javale man wft. We just started laughing.”

He even goes as far as adding how he wishes their cars would’ve actually collided.

“D*mn I wish he would’ve hit me, I need some cash.”

JaVale McGee also took to Twitter to confirm Young’s side of the story.

Ironically, both Nick Young and JaVale McGee won a championship together two years ago with the Golden State Warriors. McGee later signed with the Lakers, as Young briefly joined the Denver Nuggets in December 2018 before being waived just under a month later.

Currently, the NBA is on pause due to the ongoing health crisis of the COVID-19 pandemic. McGee’s Lakers were atop the Western Conference with a record of 49-14 before NBA commissioner Adam Silver suspended the season March 11.

NBA commissioner Silver still isn’t sure when an official date will be agreed upon to make their return. Silver said in April,

“We are not in a position to make any decisions, and it’s unclear when we will be.”

As reported, the NBA will allow each player to volunteer travel to their respected facilities for individual workouts which strengthens the organization’s chances of returning all players in postseason play while keeping a safe environment.
