Lamar Odom’s Fiancée Sabrina Parr Says She’s The Reason They Pushed Back Their Wedding: I’m In No Rush

RHOA
star Nene Leakes kicked off another edition of her Cocktails & Conversations series on Instagram live last night, with special guest Lamar Odom, and his fiancé, Sabrina Parr.  Nene was joined by her husband Gregg Leakes, and the couples chatted for close to 2 hours on a variety of topics, one hot topic being, Lamar and Sabrina’s wedding date. The couple got engaged in November of 2019, and a wedding date hasn’t been set yet, and surprisingly, Sabrina has been holding off on both her and Lamar, walking down the aisle for second time.

She says that the wedding was initially planned for spring 2021, but because of the pandemic, she is fine waiting until 2023, for official ceremony.

“If it was up to him we would have already been married, thats the truth. He’s asked me to marry him like right now, a million times.  And I am the one putting it off to be honest. So, I’m taking my time, I am in no rush. I have learned, we have both been married, and divorced so I have learned that if you think you’re ready now, you’ll be ready later, I really want to get some things in order before we get married.”

She also defended her man when an Instagram user made a comment that Khloe Kardashian “built this man up now he’s under this women’s thumb.”

She says “Lamar was a champion and a star and a legend, way before he ever was on any reality tv show”:

Sabrina Parr recently took to social media to give some inspiring words to women about remaining financially independent. She says:

“Here’s a little fact about me; I will continue to live within MY means until I am married! Wherever I live or whatever I drive, I spend my own money on it and I make sure it’s something I can afford comfortably on my own and my name is included!”

She continued,

“Lamar and I are not married yet nor do we have children together. There are no guarantees in relationships and I never want to be in a position again where something happens and I’m stuck financially. He could leave me today and I would be good on my own! Once we get married, he can spend away and I will put my coins up lol!  My advice to women is to put yourself in a position that you are prepared for all things in your own.”
