EX NBA Star Shannon Brown Arrested For Shooting Rifle At 2 People Who Came Into His House, Which Is Up For Sale
Shannon Brown was taken into custody after firing his rifle at two people who walked into his house that is currently on the market. The former L.A. Lakers star was also charged for aggravated assault, according to The Citizen.
A representative for the Tyrone Police Department in Georgia said that a couple walked into the River Oaks subdivision home after realizing that it was up for sale. They said not only were both the gate and front door reportedly open, but the couple insists they made their presence known when they walked in, and someone reportedly told them to “Come in.”
But what they didn’t expect was Shannon Brown to appear, allegedly carrying a rifle. The couple said they quickly left the property, but Shannon Brown still allegedly shot five or six rounds during their exit. They called the police roughly three hours later.
Shannon reportedly told officers he assumed they were trying to break into his home. This doesn’t seem to have justified his case as he was taken into custody and charged. There’s currently an investigation into the incident.
Shannon hasn’t made any mention of his arrest on social media.

Shannon Brown and Monica
Meanwhile, his personal life is been making headlines for quite some time amid his recent split with Grammy-Award winning singer Monica. They tied the knot in 2010, and Monica filed for divorce last year. While she’s been quiet about what went wrong, she’s also made it clear that it wasn’t because of another woman.
He said back in February that he had hopes the two would reconcile.
“She my forever Valentine… I’m gonna get sentimental again. She’s just a huge part of how I think about just love I guess. She shows love, I try to show it back.”
