Tina Lawson Salutes Beyonce’s Appearance On Billboard Hot 100 For 24th Year In A Row: You’ve Been Doing The D*mn Thing Since Your Were 16!

Tina Knowles-Lawson is a proud mama, and rightfully so considering she birthed two of the biggest stars in the music industry – singer Beyonce and Solange. Tina Lawson recently saluted her eldest child on accomplishing a milestone in her two-decades-long career. Tina Lawson’s recent Instagram post featured this stat from Chart Data:

“Beyonce has now charted at least one song on the Hot 100 in each of the last 24 years (1997-2020)”

The Houston, Texas matriarch congratulated Beyonce for reaching this goal with the recent news of her single with rapper Megan Thee Stallion hitting #2 on the Billboard charts. Tina’s caption read:

“Congratulations Beyonce’ you’ve been doing the d*mn thing since you were 16 years old . The Meghan the Stallion remix Savage makes the 2020 list ! Congrats Meghan !!!”

Mama Tina is, of course, a huge fan of the song considering she got a special shout out! Beyonce rapped:

“I’m a boss, I’m a leader / I pull up in my two-seater / And my mama was a savage, n*gga / Got this sh*t from Tina”

Tina Knowles and Beyonce are also giving back to their community together. Mama Tina grew emotional watching droves of people from their hometown of Houston lining up to receive free COVID-19 testing, courtesy of her, and her daughter’s organization.
