Issa Rae Tells ‘Insecure’ Co-Star Jay Ellis ‘I Forgot You Were Fine’

Issa Rae said she forgot how attractive her HBO “Insecure” co-star is!

In a recent twitter post, actor Jay Ellis posted a picture with his plants in the background saying,

“Finally home enough to keep my plants alive…”

Issa Rae, who stars in and created “Insecure”, jokingly responded to the tweet saying,

“oh wow, I forgot you were fine”

Jay Ellis and Issa Rae play Issa Dee and Lawrence Walker on the hit series. The tweet is ironic because Issa and Jay Ellis’s characters played on-screen lovers, but eventually broke up later on in the series.

In real life, Jay reportedly welcomed a baby girl with his girlfriend Nina Senicar back in November. Jay and Nina also did a face reveal a few weeks after their baby girl Nora was born.

Season 4 of “Insecure” premiered on April 12.
