A ‘Scarface’ Reboot Is In The Works, Unconfirmed Rumors That Michael B. Jordan Will Play Tony Montana Circulate
It looks like Scarface is making a comeback!
According to reports, the remake will reportedly be set in Los Angeles, California but will still have an immigrant narrative. It also appears that Italian director Luca Guadagnino has signed on to direct the film. The original version of Scarface was released in 1932 and was remade again in 1983. The 1983 version is considered to be a film classic and follows a Cuban refugee named ‘Tony Montana’ who makes his way to Miami in the 80s and becomes a powerful drug lord.
And according to an unconfirmed tweet that has gone viral Michael B. Jordan is allegedly in talks to play Tony Montana.

Michael B. Jordan isn’t new to acting. His acting career launched in 1999 when he appeared in episodes of “Cosby” and The Sopranos. Since then he has taken on multiple big roles and has starred in films such as Black Panther, Creed, and Fruitvale Station.
Even though Michael B. Jordan has a strong body of work under his belt, the internet appears to be split over if he’s right for the role or not.
