Kanye West & Kim Kardashian Celebrate 6 Year Wedding Anniversary: Forever To Go!

Congratulations to Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West on six years of marriage!  The famous couple began a public relationship after Kim Kardashian’s split from a 72-day marriage to former NBA star Kris Humphries. 

Kim Kardashian once stated in an interview,

“After my breakup, I was feeling really low and down and he said, ‘Just come to Paris and see my fashion show.’ He jokes that he put on this whole fashion show just to get a date with me. So I went there and I stayed with him, and that’s where we started dating. I swear from the moment I landed, I fell madly in love with him and I thought, ‘Oh my god, why didn’t I do this sooner?’ Like, this is what real life is like—love and fun and real support.”

Kim’s anniversary post to her husband says,

“6 years down; forever to go Until the end”

Rap icon Kanye West, who met Kim Kardashian in 2003 told Ryan Seacrest (executive producer of Keeping Up with the Kardashians),

“I just knew I wanted her to be my girl for a long time.”

He also shared in another interview one of his keys for happiness with his wife.  He stated,

“[I say] a lot of lines other wives would not allow a husband to say but my wife also puts up photos that other husbands wouldn’t let them put up. One of the keys to happiness in our marriage is we’re allowed to be ourselves.”

The pair, whom the public affectionately calls “Kimye“, share four children; North West, Saint West, Chicago West, and their youngest, Psalm West.

For the one-year anniversary, Kanye tweeted his wife,

“Kim, I’m so happy to be married to the girl of my dreams… I love you and Nori so much!!! I would find you in any lifetime.”
