Newly Engaged Couple Jeannie Mai & Jeezy Sing In The Rain [WATCH]

It’s definitely raining love for celebrity couple Jeannie Mai and Jeezy. Television personality Jeannie Mai recently shared to Instagram a video of herself and her fiance, American rapper Jeezy, spending some quality time together in the rain. In the video, the pair are outside mouthing along to New Edition’s classic song ‘Can You Stand The Rain’ while rain showers pour down on them. The video eventually cuts to Jeezy, born Jay Wayne Jenkins, giving a solo performance to the song on a bridge.

This isn’t the first time the couple has shared aspects of their relationship online. This past April Jeezy posted a video of them dancing to ‘Say Yes’ by Lakeside to his own Instagram account.

Jeezy and Jeannie Mai publicly announced their engagement on April 10th of this year. 

Things appear to be going great for the newly engaged couple however, Jeezy seems to still be dealing with a few things from his past relationship. According to reports, the “Put On” rapper was late on paying his ex-fiance/mother of his child $30,000 for a new car.

This is based upon their alleged child support and custody agreement where Jeezy agreed to finance:

– $7,500/month in child support

– Approximately $30,000/year in school tuition

– Provide the child health/life insurance

– $30,000 towards a new car for his child’s mother

Jeezy’s legal team claims the coronavirus pandemic has caused a financial strain for the rapper and is the reason that the 30,000 for the new car wasn’t initially paid.
