Tiffany Haddish Dresses Up As A Mermaid – Adds To Speculation Over Dating Common
Tiffany Haddish isn’t afraid to go the extra mile when it comes to making people laugh. Recently the comedian uploaded a video to her Instagram page for her ‘Mermaids In The Garden’ web installments. In the video, Tiffany Haddish is wearing a blue sports bar and a blue metallic mermaid-style skirt. The ‘Girls Trip’ actress spends the majority of the video hopping around in her ankle tight mermaid inspired outfit as she fills up an inflatable pool with water. In the caption for the 7-minute video, Tiffany Haddish explains the purpose of the upload.
“Mermaids in the Garden
Just something I wanted to share with the world hope this brings someone joy on this day.”
Tiffany appears to be happy once the pool is finally filled. As she’s in the water splashing around she jokingly sings
“The mer-life. One day I’ll be a mer-wife, oh yes, in my life. One day I’ll be a mer-wife with a mer-man in my life! And we’ll be in the pool and I’ll be his mer-wife!”
As she sings her made-up song cartoon images of what appears to be a mermaid version of herself and her rumored boyfriend, American rapper Common, appear on the screen.

Many people are also speculating that the shadow figure of the person recording Tiffany Haddish actually belongs to Common.
It’s been rumored that the pair have been dating since things ended between Common and Angela Rye back in 2019. Neither Tiffany Haddish or Common have directly confirmed these rumors but this past April Tiffany did share that they were quarantined together. Beyonce’s mother, Tina Lawson, even called the pair a “beautiful couple” under Haddish’s birthday post to the rapper.
