Kylie Jenner Is Reportedly ‘Still Very Good Friends’ w/ Drake After He Called Her A Side Piece In His Song

Earlier this month, an unreleased song by Drake and fellow rapper Future was played on Night Owl Sound’s Instagram Live. Within the song, lyrics such as “Yeah I’m a Hater to society/Real s–t, Kylie Jenner, that’s a side piece / Yeah, I got 20 motherf–kin’ Kylies,” were heard.

The following day, Drake apologized for the lyrics and noted that the 3-year-old song shouldn’t have been played.

“A song that mark ran last night on night owl sound live set shouldn’t have been played. It’s a song that leaked 3 years ago and got scrapped shortly after. He was just going too deep in the drake/future catalogue. Last thing I’d want to do is wake up having any friends of mine feeling disrespected so I just had to say that to start the day.”

Neither Drake nor Kylie Jenner has spoken out since his apology. But a source close to the 22-year-old reality star says  Kylie Jenner was not at all shocked by Drake’s lyrics, but insist that the pair are still friends.

“She has no hard feelings about it. She knew it was old. Her and Drake are still very good friends and she just laughed it off.”

They added,

“Drake and Kylie still keep in touch regularly and all is good. She has no hard feelings about it. She knew it was old.”

The source also claims that Kylie is “appreciative” that Drake quickly responded to the situation after the song was played.

For some time, there were also reports that Kylie Jenner and Drake might be an item, but an insider close to the pair quickly shut down those rumors.
