Tory Lanez Wants To Make A Flag To Protect Black Businesses From Looters
R&B singer Tory Lanez is being met with mixed reactions after his suggestion to create a flag or symbol for black businesses to urge looters to avoid destroying it.
Tory Lanez tweeted,
“We should create a FLAG or SYMBOL that can be PLACED on THE STORE FRONT OF BUSINESSES(LOCAL AND CORPORATE )that SUPPORT THE PROTEST)…SO looters can know to leave those places alone .It will show if all looting is going on for the same cause , and protects supportive businesses”

Some people actually took to the idea.

Others didn’t buy into the idea so quickly. @Friday_The13th stated,
“It would be too easy for anybody who doesn’t care about #BlackLives to just go and get one. They don’t care”
@RenyTay also didn’t support the idea. He said,
“No. Because even vehement racist could then use a flag simply to save their business interest.
Companies do it all the time. Claim they love and support Black people but 70% of the managerial staff is composed of whites. Or claim they love Black people but call the police on them”

Tory Lanez recently tried to have a pow-wow that quickly turned into a heated exchange with businessowner and reality star, Shekinah, after she was seen crying in a live video over Atlanta protesters looting the Gucci store.
He stated in regards to seeing Shekinah cry,
“WITH ALL THE THINGS GOING ON …. IM SEEING THIS LADY CRYING OVER THE GUCCI STORE BEING BROKEN INTO ?!!?? THE F*CKING GUCCI STORE SHORTY ??!?!??”
Do you think Tory Lanez is on to something with his flag/symbol idea? Comment and let us know.
