Shekinah Apologizes After Calling Out Protesters For Looting Gucci Store: I Don’t Care About Material Things At All!

Protests have taken place in all 50 States following the death of George Floyd.  Looting and vandalism of major corporations as well as small businesses has also taken place and many celebrities have been affected. “RHOA” star Tanya Sam recently cried on Instagram live while showing the aftermath of her and her fiancé Paul Judge’s Atlanta Restaurant and Bar, after it had been broken into after Atlanta protests.

Rapper T.I. also called for an end of destroying Atlanta, calling the prestigious city “Wakanda.

“Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” star Shekinah says her words were taken out of context when she begged for the city of Atlanta to stop tearing the city down and took issue with looters hitting the Gucci store.

After her video went viral, social media suggested she was crying over Gucci being broken into. She posted a comment on her Instagram of a fan saying he comments were edited.

Social media called to cancel the reality TV star. Even rapper Tory Lanez hopped online furious over her comments to voice his thoughts,

“WITH ALL THE THINGS GOING ON …. IM SEEING THIS LADY CRYING OVER THE GUCCI STORE BEING BROKEN INTO ?!!?? THE F*CKING GUCCI STORE SHORTY ??!?!??”

Tory Lanez then had a heated conversation with Shekinah on Instagram live, where she tried to clarify what she meant,

“We’re not supposed to be seen as wild animals tearing up these people stores! I’m upset!… I respect people standing up…I don’t appreciate you taking sh*t on Instagram [about] ‘the girl crying over Gucci.’ I wasn’t crying over Gucci!”

Tory Lanez then asked her if she marched with the people or been present when looting is happening and she said no. She added,

“I don’t appreciate that white man killing us. But I don’t think we’re gonna get anywhere stealing these people’s sh*t. F*** Gucci! Let’s make that understood! I don’t even wear that sh*t anyway!”

After facing major backlash online Shekinah released a statement on her Instagram, apologizing to anyone she hurt,

“I hate how people love to switch up the things you say! I hate that you all took what I was saying the wrong way! I don’t care about material things at all!! I care about us!! I care about everyone!! I am sorry to anyone I’ve hurt or pissed off!! #blacklivesmatter and I am sorry if I hurt anyone! Life is to short!! And I am crying all day today too! I am with you”
