George Floyd Laid To Rest In Houston (Details And Video)
The man whose death has sparked a global uproar, George Floyd, is officially laid to rest in his hometown of Houston, Texas.
Our nation has seen citizens of all nationalities come together in protest over the killing of George Floyd at the hands of four former officers who have now been arrested and charged in his death.

Memorial services have been held for George Floyd in other cities including, North Carolina and Minneapolis where celebrities in attendance included Kevin Hart, Tiffany Haddish, Ludacris, T.I. and Tiny, as well as Tyrese.
Another public figure in attendance was Reverend Al Sharpton who spoke at the funeral today (June 9). The emotional service included gospel singers Minister Kurt Carr and his praise team and Kim Burrell.

Singer/songwriter, Neyo was also one of the singers in attendance. After his emotional performance, he replied to someone wishing him well in his Instagram story stating:
“Thanx kiddo. That was hard.”
