Da Brat Confirms Tamar Braxton Was Allegedly Beaten Up For Sleeping W/ Jermaine Dupri’s Father: I Was In The Elevator!

Was there some truth to K. Michelle‘s recent Instagram Live rant? The singer claimed that Tamar Braxton reportedly had a sexual affair with music executive, Michael Mauldin – Jermaine Dupri‘s father. K. Michelle said:

“…you can’t go around talkin’ ’bout nobody when you was sleepin’ with a married man! You was sleepin’ with Jermaine Dupri daddy! How you sleep with Jermaine Dupri daddy and get yo’ a** beat by Jermaine Dupri momma in a elevator?…I ain’t never lied. Got drug up off that elevator…Whoop! You know who you are! Whoop! Next!”

Rapper/radio personality Da Brat, who is close friends with Jermaine Dupri, is weighing in on the rumor. In fact, she says she saw the incident with her own eyes.

“Jermaine Dupri’s momma is Momma Tina. So that did not happen. That’s not his momma…that’s Michael Mauldin’s ex-wife…That did happen. I happened to be in that elevator……we was at some kind of big event- a music industry event.”

Da Brat continued:

“It was just a situation. Michael Mauldin’s ex-wife was a little fed up, and it just went down in the elevator…When it opened, I exited the elevator stage left! I ain’t got nothin’ to do with it.”
