Kylie Jenner’s Business Sued Over Trade Secrets, Kim Kardashian Facing Similar Lawsuit

Kylie Jenner is the subject of a new lawsuit from Seed Beauty, the company responsible for the overall production and manufacturing of Kylie Cosmetics. Seed Beauty is suing Kylie Jenner for refusing to ensure that their trade secrets wouldn’t be shared with COTY, Inc. Kylie Jenner famously sold 51% of her shares from Kylie Cosmetics to COTY earlier this year. This deal earned her $600 million!

Seed Beauty said it feels that the historic deal will leave them vulnerable to losing the trade secrets that create beauty success – in turn, boosting the COTY conglomerate at Seed’s expense. The lawsuit was reportedly put in place to block Kylie from allowing this to happen. This lawsuit is similar to one Seed Beauty filed against Kylie’s big sister, Kim Kardashian, recently.

Just after the lawsuit, it was announced that Kim Kardashian West sold the majority of KKW Beauty – which Seed also produces – to COTY, Inc.
