Jada Pinkett-Smith’s Mother Says “No One Is Perfect” Amidst August Alsina Controversy 

It appears that Jada Pinkett-Smith’s mother, Adrienne Banfield-Norris, may be weighing in on August Alsina controversy that involves her daughter Jada Pinkett-Smith and son-in-law Will Smith. Adrienne Banfield-Norris posted to her Instagram page a message that reads:

“Get rid of the pedestal you put people on. Recognize that people are only people with flaws and imperfections just like you and me. Do that and you’ll be much happier. Cause guess what??? They already are! Sleep well, beloveds! #keepitpushin” 

This post comes amidst the Jada Pinkett-Smith controversy with August Alsina. As we previously reported, during a recent interview August Alsina shared with the world that he allegedly had a romantic relationship with Jada Pinkett-Smith, despite her being married to Will Smith. August Alsina also claimed that Will Smith gave him his blessing to date his wife.

Since then, a rep for both Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith has denied August Alsina claims. Some were shocked by August Alsina’s allegations but the ‘No Love’ singer is standing firm on what he said. After his interview went viral he took to his own Instagram to share that he gave the Smith family a heads up prior to the interview happening. 

“The gift of freedom is yours to have, God promises us that, but only if you’re willing & God is not a man that HE should lie.. & I’m His SON, so neither would I.  W/ that being said i should also say that, no one was side swiped by any conversation, everyone got courtesy calls time in advance. Wishing Everyone Big Love!”

On July 2nd Jada Pinkett-Smith seemingly confirmed that she will be addressing August Alsina on her digital talk show. See her message below.
