Tekashi 6ix9ine Drops Last Song Before House Arrest Ends: I Made The Best Of What I Had From My Living Room
As Tekashi 6ix9ine’s house arrest comes to an end, he’s thanking his fans for supporting him as he drops his final project before becoming a free man.
Tekashi 6ix9ine, real name Daniel Hernandez was arrested nearly two years ago in November 2018 and charged with a slew of charges including racketeering, and conspiracy. He was denied bail and was facing life in prison. However, once he accepted a plea deal to avoid any additional jail time in exchange for his willingness to testify against his former gang, the Nine Trey Bloods Gang in December 2019, he was sentenced to two years in prison following his testimony. He was released early because of the COVID-19 outbreak and went home in April. His house arrest term ends next month.
The 24-year-old rapper posted a video on Instagram over the weekend and plugged his latest single released from home called “Yaya.” He told fans,
“SO HOUSE ARREST IS COMING TO AN END…. AND I WANT TO SAY THANK YOU TO ALL MY FANS…. I CREATED AND BROKE A WHOLE BUNCH OF RECORDS FROM MY LIVING ROOM….. This is the second hit he’s dropped since being released from jail. His single before that, “Trollz,” featured Nicki Minaj.
Nicki Minaj revealed it was actually shot in his guest room.

The song reached #1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart last month.
