Nicki Minaj Collabs W/ Tekashi69 On ‘Trollz’, Will Donate ‘A Portion Of Proceeds’ To Bail Fund

In the wake of the murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and many others, Nicki Minaj has been urging her followers to vote, text in and sign petitions and donate to funds in support of protesters who’ve been arrested. On June 1, she posted a photo with many names of victims of police brutality, along with information on how to help get the officers involved in George Floyd’s death arrested. She wrote the caption,

When 4 black THUGS commit a crime, if 1 person commits murder, they ALL get charged & CONVICTED. When white THUGS/COPS KILL innocent black people, ALL 4 of them are responsible…They all watched an unarmed man die and did nothing… Why do they have different rules????? Let your voice be heard. Be angry. White people have been using violence against us since the beginning of time. We didn’t invent violence & looting. Will these officers actually get convicted? Probably not. Let your voice be heard. Call & TEXT to be a part of these petitions. May Mr. Floyd Rest In Peace.

On Wednesday (June 10th), Nicki Minaj took it a step further collaborated with rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine in an effort to help donate to the Bail Project. The two are dropping a new song entitled “Trollz” and vowed to donate a portion of the proceeds to the Bail Project Inc.

To tease the collab, Nicki Minaj posted photos of her and Tekashi 6ix9ine with the caption:

A portion of the proceeds from #Trollz including merch items, will be going directly to The Bail Project Inc. The fund provides free bail assistance to low-income individuals who can’t afford to pay bail while awaiting their trial. We want to protect and support the thousands of brave people working on the front lines of social justice, using their voices to demand AN END to the targeting and killing of Black Americans by the police. #BlackLivesMatter link in bio to Pre-save #TrollzVIDEO tmrw @ midnight ????????

This is their latest joint song since they teamed up on the track “FEFE”, which was on Tekashi 6ix9ine’s debut album released in 2018.

Meanwhile, Tekashi is keeping the music coming. He revealed that he’s working with Akon on the “Locked Up Part 2” after his recent stint in jail.

Will you be saving “Trollz” to your summer playlists? Let us know in the comments.
