Carmelo Anthony Sweetly Celebrates Wife LaLa On Their 10th Anniversary: When Love Is Real, It Finds A Way

NBA All-Star Carmelo Anthony is showing his wife, LaLa Anthony, much love on their 10th wedding anniversary! The pair has been actively working on their marriage over the past few months after it appeared that the two could be headed for splitsville shortly after Carmelo Anthony was seen on a yacht in 2019 in the south of France with a mystery woman. However, the Portland Blazers forward clarified that nothing shady was going on because he was on a business retreat and the people seen with him were married.

The two also had a very public issue surrounding accusations that Carmelo Anthony had fathered a child with a Chicago woman in 2017 when he played for the Chicago Bulls. At that time, the two reportedly separated from one another. Nevertheless, the couple’s relationship seems to be on the up-and-up recently and it appears Carmelo couldn’t be happier! He took to to his Instagram late Friday night (July 10th) and posted a photo of the former MTV VJ and actress LaLa Anthony wearing a red dress seated on a gold throne-like seat surrounded by flowers and two Egyptian statues.

He captioned the photo:

“Real love is knowing your weaknesses and not taking advantage of them. Knowing your flaws and accepting who they are.

LaLa Anthony and Carmelo have also been reportedly quarantining together with their 13-year-old son, Kiyan Anthony. In a recent interview with Access Hollywood, LaLa said that being locked down altogether during the COVID-19 pandemic has been pretty easy going for them:

It’s actually been smooth sailing. And to see my son so happy, even in the midst of what’s going on in the world- to me is what’s important and what matters to me. I feel really great about that.

Even though LaLa has yet to respond to her husband’s touching post, she made a sweet Instagram post of her own recently celebrating Carmelo‘s birthday on May 29. She captioned her post of a very young Carmelo:
