Tekashi 6ix9ine Wants To Take His Baby Mama To Court Over Custody Of Their Daughter
Tekashi 6ix 9ine is reportedly making moves to change the legal custody arrangement with his 4-year-old daughter’s mother, Sara Molina. According to TMZ, Tekashi 6ix9ine’s lawyer, Lance Lazzaro, reportedly wants to strong-arm Sara Molina into allowing the rapper to be a part of his daughter Saraiyah‘s life when he’s released from house arrest. He wants a judge to step in with a custody agreement and wants to spend more time with the child.
Tekashi 6ix9ine is currently on house arrest until July 31st. He was released from his two-year prison sentence in April thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic. His time behind bars came after he testified against his fellow gang members in a federal court case. Before his testimony, he was looking at 47 years for several charges including racketeering.
Chances of Sara Molina cooperating with Tekashi6ix9ine’s desired custody agreement are reportedly slim as she said he has still allegedly made no effort in developing a relationship with the child. At the same time, Tekashi 6ix9ine’s mother sees the four-year-old often.
Sara Molina previously said that if he plans to be a father to their child, he needs to undergo a psychiatric evaluation. She also wants proof of extensive security measures being planned to protect him if his daughter is in his care – considering historical repercussions of cooperating with law enforcement to indict other people.
She has also called him out several times on social media, including her reaction to his sentencing in December. She said back then,
“My daughter is good period.”
“I don’t have no hate in my heart for nobody. I’m not gonna enable people and I’m not gonna make excuses for people’s f***ed up ways in life. If you’re not a changed person, you’re not a changed person. I can’t have you around me or my daughter period…What I saw in the court room and what I’ve been dealing with as far as people from his camp and stuff, he’s not a changed person. I didn’t see no accountability bro. None whatsoever. All of this happened because of him, period. The judge saw right through it.”
In the meantime, Tekashi 6ix 9ine should be well-equipped to pull his weight, financially. He recently scored a Billboard number one single with frequent collaborator, Nicki Minaj.
