LisaRaye McCoy Says Will Smith Is Her Type: We Can Have An Entanglement

Actress LisaRaye McCoy who recently criticized Jada Pinkett Smith for her relationship with August Alsina, now says she wouldn’t mind being in an entanglement with Will Smith. 

LisaRaye McCoy previously spoke on Jada Pinkett Smith’s controversial relationship with singer August Alsina, one that Jada Pinkett Smith infamously referred to as an “entanglement.” LisaRaye McCoy said,

“I think and I feel that he was a baby. Now I’m all for if you want to date somebody younger, go for it. But because of his circumstance and why in which he came to her, wounded and hurt, and in her lap – how in the hell did he get from off her lap, and then you got onto the d**k? I don’t understand.”

The actress recently sat down with Garcelle Beauvais on Going to Bed and when asked who she would want as a romantic partner, she says that she finds Will Smith attractive. Garcelle Beauvais then reminded LisaRaye McCoy that Will Smith is married, in which she replied,

“We can have an entanglement.”

LisaRaye continued,

“I’m saying a Will Smith type, you know. He’s so charming. He’s rich, a poetic [sic], he’s a philanthropist. He’s a humanitarian, a great dad.”

LisaRaye McCoy’s comments come after Jada Pinkett-Smith admitted to being with an “entanglement” with August Alsina and noted that she and Will Smith were separated and were having challenges in their marriage. She also addressed August Alsina’s claims that Will Smith gave him his blessing on their relationship.

She says,

“I got into a different kind of entanglement with August. One thing I want to clean up… about you giving ‘permission’ which is… the only person that can give permission in that circumstance is myself.”

She continued,

“But what August was probably trying to communicate, because I could see how he could see it as permission because we were separated amicably, and I think he wanted to make it clear he’s not a homewrecker because he’s not.”

Will Smith asked her to clarify what she meant by “entanglement,” to which she said,

“Yes, it was a relationship absolutely.”
