Megan Thee Stallion’s IG Caption May Have Made It Harder For Alleged Shooter Tory Lanez To Be Charged With Felony Assault

Right off the heels of the huge success of the release of Cardi B & Megan Thee Stallion’s “WAP” video and song, the saga that is the mid-July shooting of Houston, Texas rapper Megan Thee Stallion continues. According to reports, Canadian rapper Tory Lanez may be charged with felony assault with a firearm following his alleged shooting of “Savage” rapper Megan Thee Stallion.

Reports say that this potential charge is being considered by the office of the Los Angeles County District Attorney after Tory Lanez was initially only charged with the possession of a firearm after a concealed weapon was found in the vehicle that he and Megan were riding in.

However, there may be some difficulty in actually charging Tory Lanez with the new charge because of something that Megan noted in the caption of the graphic injury pictures she posted on Instagram, which have now been removed from the page. She explained:

I got hit at the back of my feet because when I got shot I was WALKING AWAY FACING THE BACK. why would I lie abt getting shot?

This particular detail was new information surrounding Megan’s shooting last month that apparently occurred in Hollywood Hills, California inside an SUV following an alleged argument. She reportedly had not made this revelation before and it could throw a wrench in charging an alleged shooter if she was not able to actually see the individual. Also, according to reports, if there were any additional charges that arose following this shooting, Tory Lanez may indicate that the shooting was accidental.
