Kehlani Reveals Tory Lanez Isn’t Featured In The “Can I” Video, Suggests His Verse Will Be Replaced On Deluxe Album

Kehlani is moving forward with her “Can I” video without Tory Lanez, who was featured in the song. She made an announcement to her fans that the visual for her song would be dropping today (July 30th).
Fans immediately hopped in the comments to figure out if Tory Lanez, who is currently being accused of allegedly shooting Megan The Stallion would be included in the video.
Kehlani took to Twitter to let her fans know that Tory Lanez’s verse is still on the song because the song was made months ago. But she made it clear he isn’t featured in the video, and suggested his verse wouldn’t be on the deluxe album. She tweeted,

full transparency cuz i believe in that with my following, his verse is still on the song, the video is solo. new verse on the deluxe.”

Following the traumatic incident, allegedly involving Tory Lanez and herself, Megan Thee Stallion remained silent for two weeks.  She recently took to her Instagram Live to further explain being shot. She stated:

I was shot, in both of my feet. I had to get surgery to get the bullets taken out. It was super scary.. the worst experience of my life.

To those who have made jokes out of Megan Thee Stallion’s incident, she says:

And, it’s not funny. It’s nothing to joke about. It was nothing for y’all to start going making up [quick] stories about.I didn’t put my hands on anybody. I didn’t deserve to get shot. I didn’t do sh!t. And, thank god the bullets didn’t touch bones, they didn’t break tendons. Where the bullets hit at, it missed everything, but them muth@ f*ck@s were in there.

She continued:

And it’s not that I was protecting anybody, I just wasn’t ready to speak. That’s not no sh!t that you just immediately get on the internet and start talking about. And that’s a lot of yall muth@ f***ing problems. Y’all take y’all whole life to Instagram and Twitter and make it a f***ing diary. That’s not me.

So. f**k y’all, fake @ss blogs, and y’all fake @ss sources, and my fake @ss friends.

On a positive note, just taking sometime to myself has definitely made me realize how to move forward, and how to protect my energy.
