Boosie Threatens To Sue Instagram For Discrimination After His Live Stream Was Stopped

Rapper Boosie Badazz and Instagram just can’t seem to be on the same page. On Thursday, September 17th, Boosie shared his recent frustrations with the picture-sharing platform and how he plans to sue them for discrimination. According to Boosie, Instagram stopped him from live streaming on his temporary IG account for no reason.  He tweeted,

“I started a new IG @boosienewig n they stopped my live soon as shaderoom posted it I haven’t posted nothin r went live this is discrimination/racial etc. I’m sueing calling Drew now!!”

Boosie, born Torrence Hatch Jr, has definitely had an interesting relationship with Instagram over the past few months. As previously reported, Boosie’s Instagram page was shut down earlier this summer for violating IG’s conduct rules.

Following his page being removed, Boosie took to Twitter to plead with Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, for his account to be reactivated. He said,

“They just took my Instagram! Mark Zuckenberger, I need to talk to you! Bosses need to talk to bosses. I don’t know what I did, but I need my Instagram back. I don’t even know what I did, but this is how I feed my family! Mark, do not do this to 2020! Do not take Boosie off Instagram! We need to talk, Mark!”

In addition to pleading, Boosie also offered Mark Zuckerberg $100,000 to give him his page back.

Boosie must have grown tired of waiting for Instagram to give him his old page back, however, because he took over a member of his team’s IG account and changed the handle to @boosienewig. The bio makes it clear that this is just a temporary fix however and states “Boosie Temporary Page.”

What are your thoughts on Boosie’s threat to sue? Let us know in the comments.
