Dr. Dre’s Wife Alleges That His ‘Rampant And Repeated Marital Misconduct’ Was The Reason For Their Split
Things continue to heat up in the divorce proceedings between Dr. Dre (born Andre Young) and his estranged wife, Nicole Young. The former couple who share Truly Young, 19, and Truice Young, 23, have publicly spewed out over the past couple of weeks, but Nicole Young isn’t quite finished.
The producer’s wife of 24 years has accused the N.W.A. co-founder of ‘abusive coercive control’ and ‘rampant and repeated marital misconduct,’ which she alleges is the reason behind their split.

According to Daily Mail, a new 121-page filing, Nicole Young describes in detail Dre’s attempts to ‘beat her into submission’ by leaking a series of stories to ‘friendly media outlets’ in a bid to portray her as a money grabber.
As reported last week, Young is being investigated by LAPD for alleged embezzlement of $385,029 from a shared company account, and Dre’s business partner, Larry Chatman is said to have been the one who filed. However, the new court filing claims the report was a false accusation designed to embarrass Nicole Young and subject her to ‘public ridicule’.

Amid their ongoing divorce battle cited as ‘irreconcilable differences’, Young alleges to have received death threats but a judge denied her $1.5 million dollar request for security.
Reportedly, Young’s lawyers pleaded with the judge saying that the security was essential since she’s allegedly been receiving threats against her life. But the judge brought up how Young fired her security team, which Dre was financing, because she claimed he was too controlling and she wanted her own staff.
