Ice Cube Says ‘F**k You SNL’ After They Spoof Him For Meeting With Trump Administration For ‘Platinum Plan’

It looks like Ice Cube is still receiving back lash for working with Donald Trump’s administration. During this weekend’s (Oct.31) episode of Saturday Night Live, there was a spoof of  Ice Cube and Lil Wayne, where the two are seen showing their support for Donald Trump and his administration. Joe Biden, played by Jim Carrey, began to read a mock version of “The Raven” by Edgar Allen Poe. While reading his story, Ice Cube, played by Keenan Thompson and Lil Wayne played by Chris Redd appeared. Jim Carrey as Joe Biden says,

“Descent folks out there I ask, hasn’t Trump failed at his task? Do not elect him anymore. Though Ice Cube and Lil Wayne …”

Thats when Ice Cube and Lil Wayne reply,

“Are voting for”

Jim Carrey as Joe Biden then says,

“Why in the name of all that is holy would you be voting for Trump?”

Ice Cube, played by Keenan Thompson, and Lil Wayne, played by Chris Redd, said in unison,

“Taxes!”

“Plus, Trump got a new platinum plan,”

said Redd.

Thompson then adds,

“That’s right! If you got a platinum record you can plan on him doing photo opt with you.”

It appears Ice Cube wasn’t too fond of the joke. The 51-year-old rapper and actor took to Twitter on Sunday (Nov.1) to share his thoughts on the SNL skit. He wrote,

“f*** you SNL…trying to reduce me to greed.”

As previously reported, Ice Cube has collaborated with the Trump administration to discuss developing Trump’s “Platinum Plan,” an effort to reportedly help improve the lives of Black Americans. Ice Cube stated that he introduced a 22-page proposal known as the “Contract With Black America”, and that it was open for discussion with both republican and democratic parties. According to Ice Cube, it was Trump’s administration who rose to the occasion with a sense of urgency.

Lil Wayne recently met with Donald Trump at the White House and revealed that it was a great meeting and that he appreciates the work Donald Trump has done with criminal reform. Lil Wayne wrote,

“Just had a great meeting with @realdonaldtrump @potus besides what he’s done so far with criminal reform, the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership. He listened to what we had to say today and assured he will and can get it done.”
