Singers Tinashe and Ariana Grande are advising their fans to stay home and not go out to celebrate Halloween. Although several states have continued to open up bars, night clubs, and restaurants, Covid-19 is still on the rise. Tinashe took to Twitter to share her thoughts on people going out to Halloween parties during a pandemic. She wrote:
“these lil Halloween parties are not worth getting sick for. PLEASE … BE SAFE OUT THERE! USA hit a new record number of Covid cases in a day TODAY”

Ariana Grande later responded to the tweet, agreeing with Tinashe’s comments. Ariana wrote:
“this part. please dress up, take pics, but then get in your pjs and watch some scary movies. going to parties right now is unsafe and absolutely not worth it. please be safe. happy halloween everyone !”

Some fans really appreciated Tinashe and Ariana Grande speaking out and advising people to be safe, while others criticized them.

Tinashe even responded back to a few comments. One fan wrote,
“Girl at this point… we’re already breathing covid air…it’s inevitable at this point. “
Tinashe replied,
“im not”

Another fan wrote in agreement with Tinashe citing that deaths due to Covid-19 are rising. They wrote:
“Deaths are rising across the US too. How do people not care”
Tinashe responded,
“they care less and less each day its wild”

Tinashe later tweeted a picture of herself sporting some Covid-19 safety gear. She captioned the pic,
“Covid-free for Halloween”
