Gervonta Davis Accused Of Alleged Hit & Run, Report
New reports have alleged that boxer Gervonta Davis was involved in a hit and run in Baltimore early Thursday morning (Nov. 5th).
According to WJZ in Baltimore, there was an accident at Washington Boulevard and Martin Luther King Boulevard.
Once local police arrived, there were multiple people who had minor injuries, including one who was treated at the hospital.
As for Gervonta Davis’s alleged role, an insider said that he ran a red light and hit the other car before taking off. Still, police didn’t confirm that Gervonta Davis was present when they arrived, or that he was behind the wheel of the car responsible for the collision.
The incident comes just days after Davis defeated Leo Santa Cruz in a match that ended with a knockout in the sixth round.
They both saluted one another on social media. Leo Santa Cruz congratulated Davis and wrote:
“Didn’t get the win, but I’m okay. Tough fight and congrats to @Gervontaa on his victory. Thanks to the fans for all their support for me and my family. #TeamSantaCruz”
Davis responded:
“I’m glad you ok and your dad ok. Thank you for the opportunity to share the ring with a warrior. I’m forever grateful.”
