Actor Jason Momoa Says His Family Was “Starving” After His Character Was Killed Off Of ‘Game Of Thrones’
Jason Momoa, well-known for popular movies such as Justice League and Aquaman, wasn’t always the top pick in his field of acting. According to the long-haired, tattoo-covered actor, he hard a hard time getting jobs when his 10-episode run as Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones came to an end after his character was killed off.
Jason Momoa, who is married to and shares two children with actress Lisa Bonet, opened up about the hard times in a recent interview.
“I mean, we were starving after Game of Thrones.”
He continued on,
“I couldn’t get work. It’s very challenging when you have babies and you’re completely in debt.”
The 6-foot-4 actor has seemingly beaten the hard times, as he’s consistently filmed projects since his 2012 departure from Game of Thrones.
In his upcoming sci-fi epic Dune, he helps secure a hostile planet for his master, Timothée Chalamet.
Jason Momoa’s wife, Lisa Bonet became very well-known for her role as Denise Huxtable on “The Cosby Show” in the 1980’s. Over the years, though, she has been seen on both small and big screens such as in Biker Boyz, and Ray Donovan.
