Master P Says He’s Working On Bringing His Own Biopic To Life: I Wanted People To Know My Story

It looks like a Master P biopic will be coming to a screen near you. During a recent interview, rapper/businessman Master P revealed that he has plans to bring his own biopic entitled Ice Cream Man: King of the South to life! The ‘How Ya Do Dat’ rapper says that he wants his biopic to be a true representation of his life and the challenges he’s overcome so far. He said,

“The biopic will be coming next. I wanted people to know my story. So when you watch the biopic, you’re going to know this stuff is real. Then you’re gonna get a chance to go on a journey with the character and be like, ‘Oh, I remember that story from the docu[-series].'”

He added,

“But being able to see it on a big screen and being able to know it, I think it’s just gonna make the biopic even bigger. So salute to all my fans for supporting the movement and thank you, guys.”

Master P, born Percy Robert Miller, recently made headlines after news broke that he has plans to buy Reebok. According to reports, Master P and former NBA player Baron Davis are in talks to buy Reebok for a staggering $2.4 billion. ESPN NBA reporter Eric Woodyard initially broke the story with a series of tweets.

When speaking on his potential Reebok buyout Master P said,

“These companies have been benefiting off us, this could be history for this company going black-owned.”

He added,

“Imagine if Michael Jordan owned Reebok? That’s what I’m talking about making history. As we focus on turning Reebok into a lifestyle brand not just a basketball brand, our most important initiative will be to put money back into the community that built this company.”
