‘Basketball Wives’ Season 9 Trailer Released, Jennifer Williams Says ‘I’m Not Taking No S—‘ As She Returns
After an explosive eighth season, Basketball Wives is back for season 9; and some fans might be surprised at who returns!
In the trailer released Monday (Jan. 11th), Basketball Wives veteran Evelyn Lozada suggests all of the ladies get a mansion, stating:
“So much time has gone by.”
Jackie Christie asks:
“So you gon’ invite all the ladies huh? Let’s just put that s— behind us and stop the nonsense.”
Jennifer Williams, who saw her share of drama last season, is seen saying:
“I’m not taking no s—.”
Jackie Christie also adds:

Last season, Jennifer Williams faced lots of issues with her co-stars as she was accused of talking badly about her former friend, Evelyn Lozada’s daughter. She also bumped heads with Shaunie O’Neal, creator, executive producer, and cast member on the show after she brought up a rumor that Evelyn Lozada slept with Shaunie O’Neal’s ex-husband, Shaquille O’Neal.
OG (real name Ogom Chijindu) is also returning after having drama with the ladies on and off-camera. At the height of the season, she alleged that Evelyn Lozada’s ex-husband, Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson was trying to get with her when Evelyn Lozada was engaged to the NFL star.
Evelyn Lozada ultimately attempted to get a restraining order against OG, which was denied.
Also returning this season are: Shaunie O’Neal, Malaysia Pargo, Evelyn Lozada, Jackie Christie, Jennifer Williams, Kristen Scott, Ogom “OG” Chijindu and Feby Torres.
Lamar Odom’s ex, Liza Morales and Nia and Noria Dorsey are also reportedly being added to the show this season.
Liza Morales shares two children with Lamar Odom: a son named Lamar Jr. and daughter named Destiny.
A source exclusively told theJasmineBRAND in October:
“She really wants to come on the show and share her story and some of the things she’s been through. She’s a single, working mom and it’s been a challenge at times co-parenting with her children’s father, Lamar (Odom).”
While it’s likely that Lamar Odom won’t make any appearances on the show, Liza plans to be transparent about her personal life. We’re told:
“She’s an open book. She’s had some drama with Lamar not being as involved with their children as he should, but she’s not going to bash him. She wants the best for her children and her career.”
The source adds,
“This show will give her the opportunity to let people see how relatable she is and what it’s like co-parenting with someone who battles with addiction.”
Basketball Wives returns Tuesday, Feb. 9 at 8/7c.
