DaniLeigh Says She Is “Officially Single” Confirming Break Up From DaBaby

It looks like DaniLeigh and DaBaby have officially broken up-again.

Singer/songwriter, DaniLeigh took to her Instagram story on Sunday (Feb.7) to announce that she is no longer in a relationship. She wrote,

“Officially Single”

While DaBaby hasn’t officially confirmed the break up, he seemingly acknowledged being single when he posted a a TikTok video of model India Love acting out the lyrics to his song “Masterpiece” which is now being referenced as the “Masterpiece Challenge”. According to DaBaby, the winner of the Masterpiece Challenge will be flown out for a Valentine’s Day date with the rapper. He wrote,

The on-again, off-again couple reportedly started dating back in May when both artists were rumored to be quarantined together. The pair shared photos on their Instagram from what appeared to be the same balcony.

In July, DaniLeigh hinted at a break up in a post shared to her Instagram story, the Miami native seemed to want to encourage and remind herself that her recent trip was one meant to “reset” and seemingly re-evaluate things in her life as well. She wrote,

“Before I land .. I wanna tell myself that this is a reset trip… what’s not for me God will not allow… what I give love to should equally give back .. I’m giving all my love to myself , God and to my family. I finished everything I need to.. album cover is done , my Movie is completed .. and my press looks crazy.. i worked so hard even in the process of being hurt .. “

She continued,

“I’m learning my mind.. cleansing my soul.  and finding closure for myself.. I’m Coming back home a new person.. new home, new car, and new mind . I’m excited to see what God has in store for me . But I am also patient about it … The blessings I receive are all reminders to keep going and that God already has my life written out. Thank u for all the positive love but thank u for the hate as well… It’s helped me realize a lot and get stronger .. -Danileigh”

The pair later reconciled and got back together. Following their most recent breakup, DaniLeigh has removed all photos of DaBaby from Instagram account.
