Justin Timberlake Issues Apology To Janet Jackson & Britney Spears
Justin Timberlake has taken to social media to apologize to his ex-girlfriend Britney Spears and fellow legendary singer Janet Jackson.
He wrote about the nature of the music industry, stating that it typically favors white men, and adding that he’s “contributed to the problem.”
He continued,
“I specifically want to apologize to Britney Spears and Janet Jackson both individually, because I care for and respect these women and I know I failed.”
“The industry is flawed. It sets men, especially white men, up for success. It’s designed this way. As a man in a privileged position I have to be vocal about this … I have not been perfect in navigating all of this throughout my career. I know this apology is a first step and doesn’t absolve the past.”

As for Janet Jackson, they hit the stage together for the 2004 Super Bowl where Janet Jackson suffered a wardrobe malfunction. Justin Timberlake never defended her and was able to perform the event again in 2018 while Janet Jackson was allegedly banned. The league denied banning her in 2017.
