Moniece Slaughter Says She Will No Longer Speak On Dr. Dre & Apryl Jones: I Was Told My Life & My Son’s Life Were In Danger

Update #2 (Feb. 17th): Moniece Slaughter has revealed that she will no longer speak Apryl Jones and Dr. Dre’s alleged relationship.

She wrote on Instagram:

“As a woman, in a time where we’re told we should be valued, exalted, and protected, I’ve been conflicted as to how I was going to proceed, or address last night’s chain of events. Torn between allowing men to intimidate or bully me into being silent, or to speak up for myself and stand firm in my position. Torn between acquiescing to my friend’s and family’s pleas to not speak up or defend myself, or to ignore them as well, and still stand firm in my position.”

She continued and alleged that her and her 11-year-old son’s lives were threatened.

“Upon waking up today I was told that my life, along with my son’s life, and my family’s lives were in danger. That I was dealing with a very powerful man, and that I needed to be quiet, to disappear from social media, and even think about taking a vacation to “clear my mind.””

She added that she would be refraining from speaking on the topic “for no reason other than the safety of my loved ones.”

She explained,

“I will not be accepting any media or interview requests or inquiries. I will continue to live my life as I do on a day to day basis. I will continue to care for my son. I will continue to sing and make music. I will continue to be happy. I will continue to do any and all things that contribute to my happiness and success.”

She ended with thanking fans for their support.

Dr. Dre and Apryl Jones have not publicly addressed Moniece Slaughter’s claims.

Original Story (Feb. 16th): Moniece Slaughter claims that Dr. Dre has threatened her over the recent comments she made about him dating Aprly Jones.

Last week, rumor swirled that the mega music producer and former Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star were dating, after the pair were spotted out in Hollywood together going to dinner.

While neither have confirmed that they are dating, Moniece claimed (during an interview with Kendra G) that they had been dating for “a while”. Moniece stated,

It’s been awhile that they’ve been together.

Fast forward to the present day and Moniece says that because she made these comments, Dr. Dre has allegedly threatened her. She states in between tears,

how dare you send a n*gga to bang my motherf*cking line and threaten me? 

The former VH1 star adds,

I don’t know you and you don’t know me and I didn’t say anything negative about you, sir. Don’t you send another motherf*ucker to this phone of mine to make one more f*cking threat.

Moniece also called the producer out by name,

Yeah, Dr. Dre. I recorded it. Wrong f*cking b*tch, wrong move, suck my d*ck you’re done. I f*cking recorded both conversations.

She references Dr. Dre recently being hospitalized after suffering an aneurysm saying,

You thought the aneurysm f*ucked you up, I’m the aneurysm.
